childbirth

I'm scared of childbirth. I am 37 weeks 4 days.I went to the doctors today and he said I'm 1 cm dialated and 75% effaced. This week or next the doctor thinks my baby girl will be here . I went to the childbirth class Sunday, it made me realize what to expect, but I know it will hurt. Any suggestions. Btw I'm getting an epidural.

The delivery process can always be scary momma- this is my third and I'm scared! Especially because everyone reminds me all pregnancies are different. :/
Honestly, I had insomnia for the last 3 wks of my first baby- imagining what it would feel like or if my water would suddenly break. Luckily none of that ocurred- what helped was having the nurse hot line- when I started to feel the pain in my back I called and they guided me thru timing my contractions and when to go to the hospital. They weren't as bad until I reached 4 cm- that's when the nurse asked if I wanted to continue or request the epidural. I chose the epidural, best choice for me!
I know you must be anxious and nervous but try your best to rest and remain calm. You'll do great hun, congratulations!  ;)

No suggestions just remember all the pain is sooo worth it once you get to hold your baby. As much pain as I was in once I got to hold my son I pretty much forgot about it :) good luck sweetie! Relax you will do great!
