hospital question

I'm curious if my fiancé is allowed to shower when we're staying at the hospital? Especially if we're there for like 3 nights since I may be getting a csection?

My poor husband suffered so much on the uncomfortable, narrow cot-like bed (more like a window bench except longer) that my hospital had for the partner that finally he went home to get some sleep.  I think he took his shower then.  Ask at your hospital tour.

I would say do what you want...our rooms are with a big Jacuzzi bath tub but they will allow my man to get in the bath with me while im in labor if i decide to do that so i think of they would allow him to be in the bath that he could shower but thats here in colorado so idk but i know when i order meals to eat he gets to order as well they are trying to make the man feel comfortable as well...

I'm not sure about showering but when I had my son I had to share a room with another mom so both of us and our visitors had to use the same bathroom.

He can just go home and shower and somebody can stay with u during the time he will be absent he doesn't need to stay whole time at the hospital I think ...my opinion so its up to him...

It's usually very discouraged that the guests use either the bathroom or the shower in the patient's room,  for germ control or hygiene reasons.  is your fiance not planning to leave at all during those three days?  My guess is if you live within a short distance he will very much want to go home and shower and change to get a break.
