You can actually over sleep and make your body tired from getting too much sleep. I would set an alarm, get up, and add things to your schedule everyday. I was the same way but have an early morning job and an 11 month old so I realized when I get up and get moving, I actually feel a lot better, even if i am tired at the beginning. But with that being said, you should also take it easy and listen to your body but too much sleep can be bad on your body too
Im 11 Weeks And I Feel The Same Way I Stay In Bed All Day When Im Off Unless Im Going To The Bathroom Or Eating.
Have you had a blood test to check if your iron levels are low?? Its not a good thing to laz around… the more active you are through your pregnancy, the easier the labour and recovery after birth
I sleep alllllll day from the time I drop my son off at 7:30 I get home at 8 and sleep til 3:30 to go pick him up. I don't sleep to good at night cuz my baby is a night baby in my stomach. School starts next week for me so hopefully I can switch it around I am 36 weeks
Try making daily goals with time limits. For instance, make it a goal to wake up by 9, and have yourself ready by 11. This gives you an hour to laze and eat breakfast, watch tv, or whatever before you actually need to start getting ready. Try to Schedule your doctors appointments or any meetings you have in the mornings and make it a goal to do something productive afterward. Basically just put yourself on a daily schedule- and you can totally schedule time to nap and Netflix a few hours a day! Just don't make it an all day event. :)
Welcome to the club lol. I'm in my last trimester going through the same thing.
The best thing to do is to move. Motivation is a personal thing so you'll have to figure out what will push you to get up and just move about. It seems contradicting, activity giving you energy, but it does work. Start small and then do more, walk, around the block or up and down your street. And I wouldn't worry about looking like a bum, be as comfy as you want.
