I had my baby 2wks ago. I put on 11kgs during pregnancy, lost 8kgs at birth, don't look pregnant anymore but still have a 'pouch'. A physio saw me on hospital to check my tummy muscle separation and showed me safe pelvic floor exercises that I could start straight away (I had a repeat csection) that are supposed to help so don't be afraid to ask them!
Hopefully I'm one of thoses lucky people... lol
It took about a two weeks for me to not look pregnant anymore,but I still had a tummy after that for a while. For most people there will still be a pooch left that you will have to work to tighten up. Some people get lucky and everything shrinks back nicely.
