I am 4 1/2 weeks along in my first pregnancy, at what point can i find out the babys sex? Or how many babies im having?

I got my first ultrasound at 9 weeks and my second to see the gender will be at 20 weeks. If you get them too early then they could be inaccurate with the gender, the best is to wait closer to 20 weeks.

Most places wont do an ultrasound before 8 weeks because the heartbeat cant really be heard yet and there isnt anything to see but a sac . The longer you wait , the louder the heartbeat && the bigger your baby is !

Finding out the sex is most accurate after 18 weeks, my doctor won't even do it before then. I hard the heartbeat when I was around 9 or 10 weeks but even then my midwife warned me that it might be too early to hear it. But I hope you do hear it because it sounds amazing! Good luck and congrats :)

Well for my first it didn't take long at all...but now with my second...it's still kinda sinking in at 28weeks

I am hoping to get it at 6 weeks.... im really excited to hear the heartbeat. It hasnt really sunk in that im pregnant though.... when does that sink in?

With my medical they do it at 10-12 some people get it at 6 tho

Sex is most accurate around 20 weeks from what I've heard...I found out with both at 21 weeks

You can ask your doctor to give you a ultrasound to find out the number of babies...they would do that around 10-12 weeks...usually to make sure the due date is right

I found out when I was 16 weeks my cousin found out when she was 14 weeks (:
