The spotting could be from taking the antibiotics. I forget what actually happens when you take it, but i vaguely remember that it will occupy the site that your bc normally binds to, thus making your bc ineffective. So it could just be break-thru bleeding, on top of a possible yeast infection. Also Drs will usually tell you to use protection (condoms) during the entire month you have taken the antibiotic...not just three days after.
Oh boy, this is going to be such a fun visit to the doctor, thank you so much!!!
I sure hope it isnt any of the above, but your right i should get it checked out.
Doesn't sound like implantation bleeding at all...I think the other posters are on the right track...sounds like some sort of infection or something...you should go get it checked out. And remember, it doesn't matter how good you are at taking your bc while you are on antibiotics, it makes the bc less effective because it can't bind right to your system therefore you are not getting a full dose of it like you should...the antibiotic binds and then the bc is left to fend for itself trying to get into your system.
correction doll...you only have to be with one person to develope a pid!! Im thinking it could be a random yeast infection or it could be something more serious like an std!! Which is possible no matter how many people you sleep with..if you have uunprotected sex you are at risk!! And it could be just a pid which is treatable and is sometimes only cause from having unprotected sex!! Not a form of an std!!
Antibiotics can cause yeast infections in women and can be pain during sex before you see the symptoms. I would deff go to the Dr and be checked. I've had a couple yeast infections that I had no symptoms except painful intercourse.
Thats freaky, I've only been with 2 people in my life and getting PID is hopefully not in the picture right now, thank you for your help.
I'm thinking pelvic inflammatory which can cause complication later if untreated, but they'll probably test you for all std's too
You probably have an infection and should see your Dr
