how to induce???

38 and a half weeks, baby boy is healthy and 8 pounds. I do not see doc for another check up (I'm closed tight like a crab) until Friday and CANNOT do this anymore!!! Looking for advice on naturally inducing. My husband will not touch me because and I quote "if the doctor can touch his head with two shallow fingers I'm not going in there) and walking just makes my back hirt worse, and he's sitting on my sciatic nerve. I've only had a few real random contractions, and am looking to kick start this like TODAY. I can't wait to place him in my husbands arms, and be able go breathe again! The baby has been in position and ready to go for three weeks now, my body is just not doing its part. Please please ladies any other tips aside from sex and walking would be greatly appreciated!!!!

I'm 39 weeks and have been doing PEO for 2 weeks, it did nothing for me. We tried sex.. nothing,   so now I use the breast pump for nipple stimulation. I will also be asking my doctor to do a membrance sweep at my appointment tomorrow.  I'm only dilated .5 cm. Smh

yesterday I had A midwife appointment and I am 36.4 weeks pregnant she said as of Saturday when I'll be 37 weeks she wants me to eat a whole pineapple every other day and to have sex up to 6 times a day to thin my cervix and she did say the whole point in the sex is to keep the semen inside you as long as possible as it was started the same way it should finish over her words as well.she suggested the Primrose tea but I'm not a fan of fruit tea so she suggested taking the tablets to start with taking two a day then going up

I have recently been trying nipple stimulation, especially since I'm producing heavy amounts of colostrum I figured that'd help. I am now experiencing menstrual like symptoms but still nothing :( I did speak to husband and he feels bad now. He said we could try sex but he's going to be extremely careful and I'm worried now that I won't get the full effect and the whole thing will be for naught if he's going to barely touch me...

I read an article about nipple stimulation being a proven way to get things going.. my husband didn't seem to mind helping with this if/when the time comes lol

Try "Evening Primrose oil" they are capsules that you can insert through the vagina! Its ALL natural and won't harm you or baby. I used it I got the 1300mg bottle and inserted 2 capsules a night. It helps effaced the cervix. I used it for 3 days and went right into labor. A lot of midwives recommend using it. It worked for me :) good luck
