i have another question...
i am very new to this... i had my son at a young age so of course it was not planned.
this is actually the fist time where we are actually trying to conceive.
"tiredbuthappy" mentioned an OPK and a CHART TEMP...
may sound silly... what are those?
thanks ladies
My uterus is tilted as well and I never had a problem conceiving. We weren't actively trying for 6 months and nothing happened, and then the 2nd month of actually trying we got pregnant. (unfortunately miscarried and then again a second time) 2 months after that I got pregnant with my son and I am now pregnant with number 2 that was completely unplanned, but we are so happy! =)
It will happen!!
I too have a tilted uterus... I totally agree with the other girls, it can take up to 12 months to conceive. Remember, you only have a small chance each month IF you bd on the right day (right around O). are you charting? Charting and OPK's help a bunch!
Good Luck!!
my mom has a very tilted uterus, and had no problems having 5 kids. It took her 6 months to conceived the 1st, and no time at all to conceive the rest. in fact, i think one of us was an "ooops."
I also have a tilted uterus. it took me 6 months to conceive the first time, 4 the second time. My dr also said it is very normal to take up to 12 months to conceive.
so... tips for conceiving with a tilted uterus are the same as tips for anyone! i used OPK to learn to recognize when I ovulate. I think that did the trick in the end. I know people on here do all sorts of things- chart temp, watch cervical mucus and cervical position, etc... i never bothered, but supposedly it's very helpful. Once you learn to predict when you ovulate, shoot to have sex several days leading up to when you ovulate.
I have a tilted uterus as does my sister. Neither of us had trouble getting preggers. Sometimes it takes up to 12 months for a healthy couple to have children...
Good Luck!
