Pregnant or Just a Long Cycle?

My cycle is generally 27-31 days and now I'm on CD36.  Early last week I had a sever headache that lasted 3 days (not sure why it went away, just glad that it did), extremely tired, mild cramping, a sharp pain every once in awhile low on my left side, clear CM, nausea through out most days (it did go away once I ate though nothing sounded good), going to the bathroom much more often, always hungry (when not nauseous), and tender breasts.  Since last Tuesday I've taken 3 HPT's and all were BFN.  This week I haven't had any of the same symptoms as last week (except being tired and hungry).  Should I wait it out a bit longer or make an appointment with my doctor (I have my annual physical March 24 but would rather not wait that long)

The home pregnancy tests are pretty accurate these days.  It wouldn't be a big problem for your doctor to order a confirmatory blood test if you simply call in.  Tell the nurse your story and that you have an appointment coming up, and you can probably go straight to the lab for the blood draw.
Most of the time the test turns out negative if the urine tests have been, but sometimes there is a surprise.
It certainly cannot hurt to find out!

Carrie, I feel your pain! I am 3 full days late and I am freaking out! I have never had a cycle last more than 30 days and here I am on day 33! Nothing but BFN after BFN!! I too am experiencing nearly every symptom in the book: mild nausea, mid back pain, hearburn, tingly breasts, frequent urination...the list goes on! With my last 2 pregnancies I was surprised and found out at about 4 weeks along with both..so I have no way to compare! I am waiting until Monday to test again...if I can hold out that long! I cannot imagine being 5 days late with no BFP!! I will keep you in my prayers!! I say either by the cheap dollar store tests or make a dr appt.. Good Luck!
