I use a&d ointment and it's gone over night.
Thanks ladies its clearing up now that.nystatin works wonders its amazing mixed with desitin
Use destin and could also be the wipes that you useing that could break her out too
Simikiar rash happened to my nephew and his pediatrician said to mix cortisone lotrimin and a&d ointments together and put the mixture on him. Within an hour we already saw a huge difference and within the next day or two it was completely healed
Use warm washcloths with water instead of disposable wipes. Keep her dry, you can use cornstarch and try to change diaper brands if that doesnt work.
Her pediatrician told me to use the nystatin and then add a later of desitin that comes with zinc oxide 40% he wants to see her in 2 weeks
There was a recall on diapers. Hopefully those weren't it. They sold them at Walgreens the whole brand is in recall. Wipes diapers creams everything.
My nephew just had this problem we took him to the er because it got really bad and we didnt know why the doctor told us it was because they had just recently switched formula and thats what did it they prescribed medicine for him and within thr next few days he was Better I hope this helped in some way prayers to you and your baby
Thats should help her poor baby. Hope she gets better! You can also use like a warm wash cloth to clean her thatll ease the pain.
Her pediatrician sent her nystatin
I know this sounds funny but an antifungal cream like for athletes foot. I took my daughter to the e.r. because I thought she was having a reaction to something and this is what they prescribed to me. It worked amazing.
A&d is really good for the diaper rashes. You should also wash her bottom everytime she goes to the bathroom because the wipes will just hurt her.
iused A+D diaper rash cream on my daughter. &iwould keep her pamper off for a lil.
I use ammen powder. I don't think its in the baby section but its a medicated powder and works over night on my sons rashes.
I change her every 2 to 3 hours never leave her wet or dirty I have an appt today with a doctor
I would take her in to the pediatrician. Make sure you change her every time she uses the restroom don't let her sit in it too to long. Pat dry her bottom and put the diaper rash cream on every diaper change. Make sure you keep her bottom dry when you change her. I baby sat this baby girl that had the same problem but hers was really really bad she cried non stop never smiled it broke my heart but its because her parents wouldn't change her diaper when she was dirty. Anyways if I'm not mistaken she had to be on antibiotics. Hopefully, it doesn't sound that bad from the post, it gets treated soon before it gets worse and she feels better. But for the time being I'dmake sure to keep her bottom dry and put that cream on every diaper change. Another thing doctor told me, to put water on to clean instead of a wipee. Why i have no clue but she told me that for my son because he was developing a rash.
My son he would sometimes get really horrible rashes as well when I would wipe him he would cry so bad of the pain he was in but I use A+D Diaper rash ointment & skin protectant it's the orange one and when I put it on my son and by the time I change his diaper again his rash has calmed down I really like it
take her to the doctors it could be an allergic reaction
Make sure its reg desitin not creamy desitin... Breast milk or on my son i made a cornstarch paste w jus water and cornstarch n mixed it in a jar and it worked wonders his butt cleared up in no time his got like that like 3,days after we got home from hosp cuz he was pooping so much from breast milk
Give her a bath with baking soda a few times a day and let her be diaper free for a little bit. I use triple past on my son and it works wonders. Don't use wipes on her for a little bit, just use a warm wash cloth when you change her. The wipes can make her butt rash worse.
I wonder if its the parents choice diapers. I used them on my son last month just for that month and he got pretty sore. My nephew got really bad as well using parents choice even though he had been using them since birth. His skin started blistering and peeling pretty bad. For me changing the diaper brand and using desitin worked great. I even changed my son every 2 hours so he wouldn't get worse. My sister did the same thing and now they're both fine. Also I know this isn't an easy option but if you could fond a way to leave your baby without a diaper for a while that would help. The fresh air always helps heal them faster .
It sounds like it could be a yeast rash. Go to the store and buy something called Lotrimin. Its an antifungal. Stop using any diaper wipes for now and just use either paper towels or a washcloth with warm water and a very mild soap. After you get her clean make sure her bottom is silky dry, you can even use a hair dryer on a cool setting to get the skin nice and dry. Apply the Lotrimin cream (you can use it 3-4 times per day) and then if you'd like you can use a thick layer of a barrier cream (like desitin, triple paste, balmex, etc) over top of the Lotrimin to create an extra moisture barrier. Most rashes are caused by moisture and if you trap moisture under a diaper cream that just furthers skin breakdown which is why its important to make sure the skin is nice and dry.
When my daughter was a baby I used Desitin as well .
