Ditto to what everyone has said. Just remember, you aren't eating for two. Don't give yourself that excuse and you'll be fine.

I have the same concern! With my first I was 18, weighted. 118# and only gained 35# which I lost almost right away. I am worried 8 years and an additional 20# later my body won't be as nice to me. So I am eating healthy, giving into cravings and walking everyday. So far at 17wks I've gained 4#. I'm sure you will be fine!
I have only gained 8 lbs maybe 10 but I am 27+5 and its because I eat healthy, I do my pregnancy yoga and I take my dog for a walk everyday since I haven't been working. Yes I do fulfill cravings when I get them but I don't over do it. My doctor has not once said anything that I need to gain more weight. They just keep telling me to do what I have been doing.
Exercise and just eat real food! Don't fill up on junk and processed foods. Eat fruit, veggies, meats and grains. Of course you can give in to cravings once in a while but moderation is the key. Stay active if you can and try not to stress about it :)
I wish I would have thought about that early on I've gained a lot of weight so far. My doctor says 2200 calories a day. So try to eat healthy and exercise.
Just be careful on wat you eat and dont go for alot of junk food
Keep in mind that your baby needs you to gain weight in order to have room for it to grow. So don't go on crazy diets and limit your food intake. My best advice would be eat healthy, don't eat too much junk food, sure do fulfill a craving but don't go crazy on the junk food. Some women take this opportunity to fill themselves with unnecessary junk, which is fine but too much can cause excess weight. Fill yourself up with good things. Go on walks, don't strain yourself with too much exercise. My doctor recommends at least 30 minutes a day of walking
