important medical question

So I have two insurances united health care through my dad since I still live here and medical through the state. The united health care doesn't cover my pregnancy but my medical does so here is my question.

I have an obgyn and recently I went to see a midwife I was going to cancel my obgyn but they give me an ultrasound every time I go in. Will there be a problem if I'm seeing two different doctors?

I had the same problem I have Blue Shield and Aetna. The Aetna is through my mom and the Blue Shield is something I pay monthly for. Just call the insurance company and talk to someone about it. I am covered for prenatal appointments under the Aetna but nothing else like not testing or ultrasounds. If you call and explain your situation they can help you out a lot.

How come your pregnancy isn't covered by united health care? That's what my insurance is and it is amazing!.. I apologize if this is too personal. :)

No because your midwife will more then likely send you to a obgyn
