I went to my 38 week appt today and when I got checked I was 3cm dilated and 100% effaced. She also said she could feel my water bag buldging so she said to go home and walk. Well after she checked me I went home and when I peed there was a lot of blood so I called the doctor and she said it was probably from her checking me. Well I went for a 30 minute walk then picked up my boyfriend from work and was having contractions every 7 to 8 minutes. Well when I got home my contractions were every 5 minutes. I called my doctor and they told me to go to the hospital. Well I'm here in labor and delivery just got the epidural (which is a life saver) and having contractions every 2 minutes. Doctor should be in soon to break my water!! Finally gonna meet my baby boy. His due date was 11/18/2014!

Congratulations :) I'm still waiting for my little guy to decide to come out ... He's being a little stubborn ... My due date is Nov 15th but I'm hoping he comes this week

Ask!! Even them checking you can help I got checked and a little after 1 pm and was having contractions every 5 minutes at 4 30 :)

I've tried everything but sex ( having difficulty in relationship) I'm hoping tomorrow I could get a membrane sweep!

Try and have sex at least once a day and walk for at least 30 minutes!!! Also if you can do squats but lean on something. Your almost there!!

Last I was checked I was 3 cm and 50% effaced that was last week.

Just got my water broken and I'm 6cm dilated!!! Gonna get checked in another 2 hours and hope I'm ready to push:)

I walked and had sex almost everyday!! It helped me dilate and thin :) I'm also tiny so hr doesn't have much room!! Thank you guys for the congrats :)

Did you use anything or do anything else to help you dilate other than walking??? Congratulations super exciting.... The only reason I ask tho is bc I see you said your due date was the 18th so that would make you 2 weeks early I'm 36+3 I can't wait till its time..
