Can i ask to get induced I'm 39+2 and have been having contractions for four days now i cant seem to dilate at all im only 1cm and 90% effaced im in a hell alot of pain cant eat sleep or go to walk since i get peralized just walking my doc wont admitt me since he thinks it's best i be gone were I'm comfortable but I'm not

I'm 40w+1d and tomorrow I have a drs appointment to set up an induction.

I'm 37 weeks 1day. Im 2cm 50% effaced,  my Dr is going to induce me voluntarily at 39 wks 1 day.  I asked if I could be induced now but she doesn't induce until 39 weeks unless it's medical

They can induce you at 39 weeks but again it depends on the doctor

Yeah, inducing too early can lead to fetal stress because it brings on really strong contractions and at 1 cm, thats a long time to be laboring hard. :/ Either way, your baby will be here soon <3 Good luck.

I've in 1cm and 60% effaced for three weeks now. I'm currently 39 week's just of today and yesterday I talked to my doctor about her inducing me. She agreed and scheduled to induce me on my due date which in in 7 day's March 5th. She explained how when your 1cm only it's best to wait till 40 week's since it's the best for both baby and mother.

It never hurts to ask. But if your water breaks, definitely go to the ER. I wouldn't try to force it until after 40 weeks though. I was induced after my water broke at 36 weeks, but ended up having a cesarean after I wouldn't dilate past a 2 (19 1/2 hours after being induced...) So I didn't to well being induced.

My Dr will  voluntarily  induce you at 39 weeks.

Most doctors won't induce till after 40 weeks. But it never hurts to ask
