the ladies that have been induced would u mind telling me ur story how everything went, just curious cause imma be induce by sunday night since i will be almost 42 weeks. ive heard its a slower process &it hurts more. so i will like to hear positive &negative stories just to prepare myself mentally.thanks ")

I'm getting induced in a week at 39 weeks. I'm already 2cm dilated and the Dr said I'm progressing fast so I should be at least 3cm by the time I get induced. I'm nervous but very excited and I'm hoping it goes nice and quick since I'm dilated so far already. All ur stories helped me and made me feel a lot better bout getting induced so thank u guys

wow, you ladies had very good experiences i should stop googling things as i just get terrified to even go in to the hospital with the stories ive read lol.

Im being induced 2morrow... I cant wait but nervous at the same time will be 42 weeks on sunday aswell

I went in with my first daughter on my own and I had an epidural and I was perfectly fine I was in labor for 8-9 hours.
But with my second I had to get induced. They started with the gel in my vagina and the contractions started right away at 3am! I had my daughter at 9:16am only 6 hours!! And I went natural with her the last hour was hell I'm not gonna lie but I didn't push at all she was so low when i went in that when my water finally broke it was one push (not on purpose) that she just flew out! No doctor just nurses, thats how fast it was. So its not true that its worse or slower I was terrified about that too but it was actually faster than when I went in on my own

When I was induced labour was an hour and a half start to finish :) and that was my first child! I made sure I walked around lots while I was contracting as I was told it helps with labour xx

At my last appointment i was 3 cm got induced Monday got my water broke then started pitocin contractions was hitting as soon as i got it then I got the epidural I was already 7 cm when I got it my doctor and midwife was surprised how fast i dilated I was in labor 5 hours but only pushed for 45 mins my little girl weigh 8 pounds and 6 oz 20 in ahalf inchs and got 2nd degree tears but so worth it

So Tuesday I went in for my induction at 2pm and at 5pm they checked me was only 2cm dilated and cervidil was inserted, I was told I wouldnt get contractions with cervidil what a LIE!!! Had nothing but contractions the entire night. At 5am cervidil was taken out was.allowed to take a shower and I was 4cm dilated today at 6am pitocin was started and in 6 hours I was 10 cm dilated but sadly at 8cm I decided it was time to get an epidural definitely a life saver I was going for natural.but no way Jose those contractions are no joke, at 1130am I was pushing at 1:03pm she came into the world weighing 7 lbs 5 oz measuring 19in I did have to get.an episiotoMy but I.didn't mind at all, I am a very happy momMy now.

I was induced last month with my daughter it was an easy process and much better than when my son came on his own. I got started on pitocin at 930am and my daughter was born at 238pm after 15mins of pushing. I had the epidural.

My first was an induction and I was in active labor for like an hour, getting flavor to start on the other hand was difficult because my body didn't want to relax and let labor start or progress but once it did it was very quick

With my first daughter labor was 12 hours no complications and my second daughter labor was 3.5 hours also no complications.. I also got the epidural with bith and haven't and any complications with those either.. Good luck to you!
