Baby will come when ready. Women can also stay dilated for weeks. My sister in law had her baby in November and her body stattin preparing for labor before 35 weeks and she made it to almost past her due date. I wouldnt it especially sice baby does the most developing in the last couple of weeks.
If your body goes into labor early naturally, your doctor is right - at this point there's not a good reason to stop it and everything will most likely be okay. But that's still almost four more weeks of weight gain, lung liver brain and kidney development, that is what is truly best for your baby. Just because your doctor won't stop labor isn't a good reason to try to get it started early on purpose. Baby will come when baby is ready - don't rush it. If your baby is born right away and doesn't weigh enough or has trouble breathing you could be spending weeks in the NICU - I know if I had gone into labor early on purpose and then had to watch my baby hooked up to monitors and machines and not be able to come home with me I'd feel guilty about it for the rest of my life. Not worth it for the possible complications. Just be patient, it'll happen soon enough.
Well when i was 28weeks i was having Braxton hicks and they said my cervixs was already thinning and they could fit a finger tip in . Ive been having cramps in my belly and lower part of my back their was also a little lite pink blood when i whiped one day. She said my body is already preparing itself for labor so ill probably go early. && ive tryed everything also lol nothing is working
There's really not a whole lot you can do. I've tried a whole lot of different things. I was told I wouldn't make it to my due date, but here i am, 40+1. Baby will come when it's ready.
Why doesn't she think you'll make it to your due date?
