induction at 39 weeks with cytotec?

It could have. I wasn't dilated but I was 50% effaced.

could it have been because you were 37 weeks? I don't know anything about anything, this is my first pregnancy so please be patient with my lack of knowledge lol of course I could ask my dr but I feel that I'm getting a biased answer. I sort of regret not letting him to a stretch and sweep to hopefully induce labor a little more naturally.

I had it at 37 weeks and I ended up with a emergency Csection. My son's heart beat went down to 19bpm and my blood pressure raise over 100 on the bottom end after 12 hours of being induced with that... personally I would recommend pitocin.
