HI all,
I'm lokoing for ideas on a good infant bath tub.  My appartment has a shower only and I'm worried about what to do about the baby tub.  I do have a good sized double sink in my kitchen as well.  does anyone have some good reccomendations?

Thank you!

Thanks for all the ideas ladies!  I think I will head out for a shopping trip this weekend and check them out.  i'm only 14 weeks but I've been worrying about not having a bath tub.

Mine came from Target...the kind that has the hammock that attaches to the plastic part for when they are newborns....LOVED it.....less worried about them slipping in the water with the hammock attachment.

Ikea if you ahve a stoe near you has the cheapest and they are awesome! I think they are like 5-7 dollars! Any cheap tub will do. THe bigger the more water and the harder it is to drain. They do have some that fit in double size sinks but they do not go for bigger babies like you will need. I say in the summer use the sun and your porch if you can. The baby will love it and the distraction will help you be able to wash. That is if you have accomodations for such a thing. Oh yeah you can even use a ribbermade tub! and kkep all the toys and shampoo in in while you have to store it with the lid. I forgot they use then in the NICU when my baby was born. Cool idea if you don't have a tub.

Ive been thinking about buying the one that is like a bucket. I can't recall the name right now but its blue and has padding on the bottom. The reviews are great.

the sink will work fine for a month or two....but honestly we bought the cheap target baby tub and it worked great. we used it up until my daughter could sit up on her own, and then she started taking baths with me and we played and she LOVES bath time....but it can fit up to a toddler so having only a shower wont be a problem :). any brand is fine IMO but some of them have toys or themes that you might like better than others...so just look around I don't think it really matters. If you do use the sink for awhile, I recommend getting a little foam insert that you can put at the bottom so baby's, well, bottom doesn't get cold...and most of them have little tabs that indicate water temperature appropriateness for baby too :).
