Any of you guys that didnt have insurance before pregnancy and applied. What did you habe too do?

I apply on monday for my first baby appt.

I applied for Medicaid the day I found out and I was approved immediately. They also sent out my medical card right away

My insurance dropped me and I applied for medicade and still got nothing. So pretty much im paying out of pocket dr visits...it blows

Most insurance wont accept you unless you tried applying for Medicaid first and was denied by them, and becaus3 you are pregnant you are approved fast and get your card fast. Speaking from experience I tried different insurance but they all told m3 to try medicaid first if I was denied then I was told to go back to them.

Well what if before i was 18 my mom tried getting me insurance thru medicaid and got denied cuz of my parents income was high. Would that count as trying ? Im from kansas and the lady that helped me over the phone said i could be eligeble for kancare

i applied for mediciad and was approved quickly although i didnt know(all my stuff got sent to we dont know where) but yeah just apply and you should get approved quickly.

Im due in 3 weeks and dont have insurance. I've been waiting for almost 2 months for my card or even an acceptance letter. Im in the same boat as you vbaal. Let me know if you find out something

I went through the state n got access even though I make too much they granted me in

I applied for Medicaid after i found out and was accepted but they're dragging *** to send me my actual card. And i cant be seen without my card.

I have health insurance because of my mom but it didn't cover all of my expenses so I also have pregnancy medicaid and they pay after the insurance after my baby comes I'll go back to my regular health insurance and my baby will me on medicaid

I applied for medicaid got approved immediately all you have to do is submit your income verification and citizenship. They get you approved for all benefits you qualify for.

I am currently filling out insurance my state it was pretty much like medicade ! Hope all of you tgat had unresolves probs with insurance found good answers
