is it supposed to be this itchy?

So I had a c section 2 weeks ago and last week I got to get the staples out and they put these butterfly stitches on the incision just for support. It wasn't itching at first and my.doctor told.me I need to keep the butterfly stitches on until they fall off by themselves. Well 2 of them fell off yesterday and now today I am really itchy right on the incision and it's so itchy I have to try so hard not to just scratch the crap out of it bit I know if I did scratch it it wouldn't be good. Any thing I can do so it's not so itchy?

Don't itch it.. try baby powder or A&D ointment (:

You could use some sort of cream that is safe. Maybe ask your doctor or a pharmacist at the drug store
