is this true or not?

Someone at work told me that i have to eat at least a tbsp of peanut butter a day to prevent my child from having allergies? I hate peanut butter so much too a point rmthat it makes me feel sick (ever since im a kid actually) but if its actually true then ill suffer and eat that darn peanut butter for the sake of avoiding peanut allergies. It just sounds like a old wives tale to me really. I mean if my kid is allergic to something its its his genes already, no?

I never eat peanut butter and my four kids don't have any allergies. Old wives tale...good luck

That is not true.  Your baby is exposed to anything you eat, but eating on will not prevent an allergy.
