So I have a interview next week and I was wondering when do you tell them your pregnant? If I get hired should I wait a little bit or tell them off hand. My sister said I shouldn't tell them right away. I'm just praying I get the job. I need it!!

In my opinion I think you should tell them so they have the time to prepare when you go for maternity leave. They can also start paperwork on maternity leave. The longer you wait and keep telling them you need days off they will get annoyed. Just my opionion they can't discriminate but being honest is better then hiding it

Tell them whenever you want. It's illegal for ANY employer to fire you or not hire you because you're pregnant.

I have wondered the same thing!! I'm not going to tell until I'm showing unless you are doing heavy lifting or something that night harm the baby

I told my job right away only because I do some heavy lifting but I've also been there for 2 years now. Don't tell them right away. They won't end up hiring you. They won't say that's the reason because it's illegal but they would choose someone else over you saying they were better qualified

Thanks girls!!! I will keep quiet since I'm already thicker before I got pregnant so you can't tell yet. I'm going to be a sales associate so I won't be lifting anything heavy. Maybe I can get discounts since I work there and I can get all the cute stuff lol

I didn't tell my job that I was pregnant until I was about 5-6 months when I started to show.

I didn't say anything until I was 6 months, just be careful if it requires lifting or physical activity, you don't want to risk baby!

Yea same here I just got hired but I'm 4 months pregnant  but you can tell so I'm not telling them until it's noticeable
