Doctors office vent.

Why is it that whenever my doctor tells me that someone from the office will call and confirm my appointment for an ultrasound or a certain set of tests a week before my next appointment, it never happens? Y'all can call me from 15 feet away in the lab to tell me how my pee test was normal, so why is it that y'all can't call and confirm something important without me having to call and ask about it?

I'd just go to the ultrasound office and make the appointment if it's at the same building or call as soon as I get home

Ugh, that's annoying.  I usually get a call a day before but if they say a week and never call at all, that is not professional.  Mention it to the office staff.  You can say that you have trouble getting transportation or time to go or whatever and always want to know that the doctor is on the same page as the things in your planner.  Or whatever, something like that.  good luck dear
