WHat are other meds to relieve pain besides the epi and gas?
There is Pethidine (it may be called something different in the US) I believe you can still be active during labour with it (I've never used anything other than gas and air, but I'm blessed with short labours), which means gravity can help you with a speedy delivery!
Some offer fentynyl (spelling?) which just takes the edge off. That's what I used with my second.
You can get a nubaine (sp?) Injection in your iv. It doesn't stop the pain just takes the edge off the contractions.
Lol yea...i would love to go natural but ive never been in labor so I dont know that pain lol....hopefully someone has an answwr!!
Oh yeah I'm heard of that too...its just pretty weird to get a shoot down there when you already have to push something out of there Lmao.
