labour and waters

I have 16 days left!!! This is my first baby and I am so scared of labour! Everytime I think about it it makes me feel sick but Im excited because then I know my baby will be here. Also what does it feel like when your waters break?? Do you get any warning to it or does it just all gush out unexpectedly?

I woke up and was a little wet. When I stood up it was dribbling down my leg a little. Mine had sprung a leak. They finished breaking it when I got to hospital. But its still considered breaking. And no, there was no warning. I didnt even have contractions. I really thought I peed myself lol

This is my third pregnancy. My first my water leaked slowly I had her 2 days before her due date. My second a boy I was 10 days over due and head to the hospital to get a check up. When I got out of my car my water broke and rushed out every where. It's Like peeing on yourself but you can't stop the flow. N I couldn't move till it stopped like I was in shock.

They mean they want you to be in the hospital within 24 hrs of it breaking. They can give you antibiotics if an infection starts happening. But if your water breaks or leaks it will continue to do so. Yes at first you wonder if its pee but you'll know its jot because it won't stop.

Im just worried because they said tp me that if your waters break they like you to give birth within 24 hours as it could lead to infection but what if I feel like I have peed myself and just leave it :/ I really do over think things and get myself worked up over nothing im sure when it happens I will know about it. I really hope I dont go over my due date as im already knackered by it he is laying so low I can hardly close my legs lol xx

Im a first time mom and i had my baby girl at 38 weeks.
My waters never broke i just started having contractions. I went into hospital and they give me a sweep which is meant to really get ur contractions going and hopefully break your waters but for me this didnt work. After the sweep my contractions were so strong and went on for ages but my waters never broke. In the end i had to have my waters broken for me and had to have an epidural for the pain. Everyone is different thats why ive explained what happened during my labour. No one can say what it will be like for you because no one ever has the same labour. Dont stress about labour or your waters breaking. You will know when it happens hun :) best of luck xx

Most women leak their water. Something like only 8% of women actually have their water fully break. Most first time moms dont have to worry about it since ftms usually carry over their edd by at least a week usually 3 if left uninduced. Labor isnt bad. Really. Hollywood makes it sound so hard and awful. It really isnt. You get in a rhythm and find your way of coping whether its counting, breathing, or leaning forward

I feel the same way...
I just hope my birth plan gets honored to a certain degree.

And I heard it just gushes out,  most women think they peed themselves
