late pregnancy and no symtoms of labour

Hi, am 38 weeks 5 days pregnant. First baby, baby moving fine and no signs of labour. I have been walking about to see if something will start, but no success, I just end up feeling tired. Please what other exercise or advice do you have for me. I don't want to reach the period where I would be induced, I heard is more painful than normal labour. Please reply. Thanks.

wanna try something tasty? Raspberry Leaf Tea....cold or hot! tastes sooooooooo good and it helps to get labor going...also lots of sex and let him *ahem* "bust a nut" in you...and let it stay...itll soften your cervix...if you are dialated any bit and you have a doc appointment coming up, ask them to "sweep" your membranes!

Honestly nothing will work unless your body and baby are ready. The day before I went into labor, I say on our back patio for hours with my feet up just reading. Went to my chiropractor, had dinner with DH and dessert at my parent's house. Had absolutely no signs of labor starting, and at 1 am my water broke. Sometimes I think we try SO HARD to jumpstart labor, we end up stressing out and prolonging it. Just try to relax and enjoy these last few weeks of peace! Trust me, you'll be thankful once that babe is here :]

Baby will come when baby is ready. I was 10 days overdue with my 1st and went into labor on my own the same night i was going to be induced. Nothing you can do about it really

Hey mama. I tried EVERYTHING to get my little boy to come. Nothing jumpstarted labor. I do think walking is good and can help prepare your body but other than that its really just a waiting game. Get as much sleep as possible while you can! Get your nails done, go shopping :)

I've been trying primrose oil for a couple of weeks plus bouncing and rolling my hips on an exercise ball. I've been doing this for a couple of weeks now and I am dilated to 1cm, still no contractions, but i've had lots of cramps (I think it's dilation) so maybe you'll get something soon.

If you have a lot of strong italian seasoning it helps. Certain seasonings create contractions.

I am 37 weeks 5 days and tonight me and my hubby are trying to induce labor ( doctor gave the go head since baby is measuring a week a head )
So far we tried sex at about 5 hours ago and now he is making me super spicy wings along with pineapple...tomorrow morning we are trying the birthing ball and walking. Hopefully something will work.
you could try nipple stimulation, walking up and down stairs or if you have a doula in the area they are trained for foot massages and know the correct pressure point to hit to start labor.
Let us know how things go and if anything seems to be working

Exercises to induce would be galloping, squats , or jumping jacks other things you can try is eating A LOT of pinapple there is an ingredient in it that is soposed to dialate and soften the cervix also you could try getting regular coffe grounds aprox 2cups and put it in like a plastic bowl then place the bowl in the toilet ( it will float), then pour boiling water into that bowl it should start to steam , sit on the toilet for about 30-45 mins and the steam will help to thin and dialate the cervix .... I would try a combination of all of them starting with the pinapple and coffe then the exercise
