light

Has any one tried to put a flash light up to their belly and they baby moves to the light.....
I do it all the time specially at night because that's when he's normally up and moving around a lot waking me up out my sleep with kicks so o just say up and turn my flash light on, on my phone and put it on my belly and watch him move and kick toss and turn..... I love it

Not necessarly. We're not in a sac filled with fluid, and layers of skin blocking our vision. I don't remember quite what the article said, but I do know the light "trick" was in with the same week as when the babys eyes opened.

It said on this app a few weeks earlier that even though the eyes are not open they react the light
Close your eyes turn on a light turn off a light it's the same thing

I'm 29 weeks so it'd work with me right? :) I tried when I was about 16 lol no wonder nothing ever happened.

Baby can't notice light and dark until their eyes are open, about 25-27 weeks babii_doll. That's probably why, try again in a few weeks. :)

My son moves all the time while I'm about to go to sleep I'm 22 weeks so it doesn't really keep me up because I love sleep but it's really sweet! We tried the flash light thing weeks earlier but didn't get any movement it was with my boyfriends phone maybe that's why

I have heard of it but still need to try it. Dont know how true it is but they say Too much light can cause stress to baby if I was u I wouldn't do it often hun

Im 15 weeks idk if my baby would move yet so i haven't done it but yea i think about doing itt.
