Some women don't show at all till much later. I'm sure your fine, your uterus hasn't even reached your belly button yet, from about 18 weeks or so on, you should really start to notice ur belly getting bigger, mine was really soft up until 22weeks, then it still changes time to time. I'm currently 25weeks. hey you've got something to look forward to coming up, those little kicks can start from 16weeks on. Good luck! Congratulations and happy new year!

My first pregnancy I didn't start showing until 6 months. I wouldn't worry about it.

lol. this is funny, i thought mine looked like a beer gut for awhile too, and i was a bartender so it looked even worse. Give it a few more weeks and you'll get bigger then it will just look like a preggo belly. Until then you just gotta deal with the awkward beer belly. good luck.

I am 16 weeks, 5 days and my belly changes on a daily basis. I tend to carry wider, just found out its a girl, and some days I feel like a blimp and others I don't feel like I'm showing. You can have bloating and gas while pregnant which would change how your belly looks It also depends on where baby is at, if you are constipated, if you just ate, etc. Like Beccabb, my belly also decides when it wants to be hard or softer. Your muscles, skin and tendons are all stretching... I can tell when I'm starting to "grow" because I get what I like to call "growing pains" and my tummy tends to be more hard during this time.

Hope that helps!

Is this your first baby? Don't worry I'm 26 weeks n mine decides when it wants to be hard n when it doesn't for me it depends where baby is laying if it's more towards your back then will take longer for ur bump to form,  but at this point your baby is still so small you might be one of the ones who gains it all at the end :)

I think it depends on your frame and build.  I know really slim women tend to show early where as larger women might ot show as much,
