I gave birth last week and when I weighed myself yesterday I was within two pounds of my starting weight. I'm also really swollen still so I'm hoping the swelling goes down soon. And I'm bfing so maybe ill lose some more.
Thanks ladies I'm guna take your advice and hopefully in a few months I can post up that I lost a good amount of weight.
As for you luvinlife I wish I was as skinny as you were pre pregnancy. Ive always weighed in the 130ish area and I'm short 5ft .. I gained 23 pounds being prego so far and it *****. Hope you get to the weight you want tho
Eat at least 6 small meals a day. Make sure u eat breakfast. The more frequent u eat, the more ur matabolism is working to digest. It may be hard at first cuz ull always feel hungry but it worked for me. B4 i got pregnant with my daughter i was (disgustingly skinny at 115 lbs and 5'8" tall) the day b4 i had her i weighed 181. She was born in june & by december i was down to 135. All i did was eat, walk, breast feed, & work as a CNA.
This time around, i feel like im going to have problems though. I havent really gained weight but i was trying to b4 i had her. My brother was starting to train me for strong man... Well... I feel like all my muscle is fat now. I hope not
It took me awhile to lose my weight. got the depo shot 6 weeks after birth. BIG mistake! Went 3 rounds after i quit that and lost about 10 lbs without trying. Then after dieting, watching what i eat/ drink, i finally lost all but 10 lbs. i was 120 prepregnancy so i wond up being 130. Grapefruit works wonders and so does gaterade. After gaining some weight back, i started walking everyday. got up to two hours a day. Then i was also drinking atleast one energy drink a day. They are the bomb to help give u energy to get up and go!
Lol I plan on breast feeding so I guess I can't cut back on the calories but I am gonna try to walk a lot but where I'm from it can get pretty cold so idk.. I heard lemon water helps burn fat I wonder if it works
Some women are lucky and the weight just falls off after birth, I was not one of those women lol. They say it takes same amount of time to lose baby weight as it does the time it takes you to carry a baby 9+ months. If you're going to breastfeed then you can't really cut back on how many calories you eat bc you need those extra calories bc breastfeeding burns calories and that helps some women lose their baby weight and some it doesn't, my sil bf and said she can't get the last 10lbs off until she's finished bf so everyone woman is different. I didn't bf, for dieting I did the slim fast 3 2 1 plan and it worked pretty well for me, I wouldn't eat past 6 and would eat a little something within 30 mins of waking up to get my metabolism going, I also tried to get out everyday and walk my baby or get on my elliptical..my hips actually just went back in right before my son's 2nd birthday ha. Everyone is different though, so don't stress yourself if you find you're not losing weight as fast as you thought or would like too, it's hard work but you can do it and just remember one day you will get your body back! Lol
After i had second i seemed to put loads of weighed on i didnt breatfeed baby didnt latcg on
I have been told breast feeding helps. And to start off with at least walking every day until u can exercise properly. You shouldn't have any expectations though. Sometimes your body changes and you cab eve get back to your pre pregnancy weight let alone weigh less. Good luck
Sorry i meant before i got pregnant .
