She needs to talk with doctor immediately.  Some meds can cause birth defects,  learning disabilities,  premature baby or miscarriage

If taken all the time baby can become addicted and she will have a baby that may have withdrawals once outside the womb which can be very harmful to the baby.

Definitely not safe for baby! But my boss was/is heavily addicted to pain meds and her doctor continued to prescribe them to her throughout her entire pregnancy... he told her that since her body was so dependant on them that if she stopped cold turkey her body would withdrawal and cause even more stress on the baby. She needs to get help either way! Idk about your state but in my state you are drug tested regularly during pregnancy and if you're abusing something not prescribed to you they will contact cps and possibly take the baby when you give birth.
