medications???

Good morning ladies, I went to my drs yesterday an faintly heard my babys heartbeat. I also was given 2 new medications to add to my zofran an prenatal. I guess I am anemic because the drs office called me in iron pills an they called in another pill called calcium sulfate...?????...... I have never heard of it an was wondering if any of u ladies have taken this calcium sulfate... An if so what is it used for?

Um the only time I've heard of calcium sulphate is when I worked construction and mixed cement.... And in plaster of paris.  I've only heard it used in the industrial sense.
You might want to call your doctor and clarify.
There might be a medicinal use for it, but it's like a hardening agent in cement.

I haven't used calcium sulfate before but I work in a doctors office and the doctors prescribe it for low calcium. Hope that helps :)
