I'm just about 18 weeks pregnant and I remember it being one of the first signs of pregnancy. It only lasted about 2-3 weeks with me, but I still get it from time to time. Try cutting back on soda...even Sprite causes it for me. I have been drinking lots of juices and water, but any type of carbonated drinks seem to give it to me. I'm not really craving salads and many vegetables these days so I've been drinking that V-8 fusion (it has a serving of vegetables and fruit) and that doesn't give it to me, but I had some of my sons apple juice one morning and that did bring it back. Keep track of what you eat and drink and you may find a pattern. I have narrowed my heartburn down to red pasta sauce by tracking what I ate prior to my getting it each time. This may help you to steer clear of certain irritating foods as well.
Good Luck!

No way its not too early. That was actually my first sign of pregnancy before the sore boobs or anything. I remember eating Tuna fish, and I swear I could taste the metal from the can. That was like maybe 8-9 DPO, so really early

Thats really good to know. I had it for about 3 hours last night at work, and today I've been fine  so far... so I was just curious if it comes and goes like that early on.

This is considered as an early pregnancy sign. I belive that some people loose it after a while but some others have reported that it remained until they were in their second trimster.
