midwife advice wrong?

Ok so my midwife holds a centering class as part of my prenatal care . In some of the topics in my last class we played a little myth busters . Where we would go around sharing what we heard is "not safe" while pregnant and she would tell us if its a old wifes tale or not. It was quite informing and one of the things was hot baths she said they were not bad they were actually good but she said hot tubs are . So i dont get in hot tubs but i read on google hot baths are bad too so i was relieved to hear it was a old wives tale so to conclude the story i took a hot bath and i feel muscle contractions in my stomach up top and feel dizzy

I take hot baths. The way my midwife described it was if you need to adjust to the water before getting all the way in then it is to hot.

You shouldn't take a bath hotter than your body temp, that's usually what doctors go by.
