missed periods

I am 28years old and have had two pregnancies. I am on  yaz birth control, and I have missed 2 periods. I took 5 home pregnancy tests which all have resulted in negatives. I have never missed a period other than when I was pregnant. I did not miss any pills of birth control and have been on no other medication. I am slighlty stressed and thought that was a reasonable explanation as to why I missed my first period. but now that I have missed two I am wondering....Am I pregnant even thought the tests, all of which I followed very specific to the instructions, and are still showing negative, or what else could be wrong with me?

You need to see your doctor.  The pills alone should be causing you to have your period...that is what they are designed to do!  The bleeding you should be having when you take your placebo/sugar pills is due to the lack of hormone/bc pill in your system and not an actual period brought on by your body.  There are several things that could be causing missed periods including cysts, infection, hormonal problems due to pituitary or thyroid malfunction etc.  Let your doctor make the judgment on this one and perhaps even give you a blood test to confirm or rule out pregnancy.
