moms who plan on breastfeeding or thinking about it

It's so amazing my baby makes 2 weeks old thursday and I've  been exclusively  breastfeeding her. Yes its painful and takes patience but the feeling of giving your baby exactly what they need is so rewarding and worth it. The benefits of mommas milk are so great for example my little girl was getting a diaper rash so i expressed a little milk on my finger and rubbed where the rash was and it was gone by the next day! And it works way better than any nipple cream they sell for sore/cracked nipples just express a little and let it air dry. I want to encourage any moms wanting to or thinking about breastfeeding the first few weeks are the hardest (which I'm  going through right now) but trust me if you push through you will see how great it really is!

My son is 2 months old and I exclusively breastfed for 5 weeks now I pump and feed but breastfeed at night. It is amazing.

It did hurt the first week but that was because he wasn't latching right I saw a lactation consultant and she helped amazingly it stopped hurting.

My baby girl was two weeks Sunday and I totally agree. I love breast feeding her. She latches perfect now and it doesn't hurt at all. It's very demanding and can be hard to keep up but it's all worth it for me the first week was the hardest. Even had cracked nipples but I used breast milk also and it worked great. Best wishes to all.
