my breast are leaking milk

Question

hi my period is 7 days late i took a pregnancy test and it came back negative.  my breast have just recently started leaking milk i am 99.9% positive that it is milk.  my breast are a little tender not much but not sore. i am having frequent cramps similiar to menstrual cramps and i feel like im on an emotional rollercoaster....i took another pergnancy test once all of these things started happening to my body which also came back negative what should i do

have the doc check your HcG levels and also your prolactin levels!!!!.......mine started leaking again when my son was about 7 months old (never breastfed) and my prolactin levels were high (from end of December 06 to February 07)

i had a child 3 yrs ago i breast fed him for 3 months and didnt stop lactaiding for a yr...when i was pregnant with hiim i startin leakin milk at maybe 10 weeks i know it started before my initial sono ant that was at 11w2d so i started leakin maybe 2 weeks befor then

Okay....here is my question to you.  have you had children or have you had a miscarriage.   I had a miscarriage in September 06 and then this past October my breast have been leaking as you say with milk.  I went to the doc in march because it was getting worse.  They blamed it on a miscarriage.  My body had a reaction to the miscarriage and my milk came in.  Makes no sense to me but hey.....I got an answer.  If you are very worried then contact your doctor.

Sounds like you might have a hormonal imbalance.  That would explain the lack of period and sudden milk production.  Doesn't sound like you are pregnant, since milk production doesn't begin until the 2nd trimester in pregnancy.
