I dont know the answer but I want to bump it to the top.
i had the same problem b/c i hadnt had a period for almost 2 yrs after my 1st son was born...i delivered within 3 weeks of each date i had figured out and the one the u/s showed. best of luck :)
so did you deliver closer to the day *you* had guessed or the *u/s and dr* had guessed?
You need to go by the ultrasound date because that is how large your baby is measuring. It can be unsafe for a baby to be born too early or too late. So definitely go by the ultrasound date!
i know i should follow my dr.....but um, yeah i didnt have sex from the 7th(night we celebrated my b-day), untill the weekend before valentines day!!! chris was offshore, home for 2 days then he went to see his dghtr in KY for v-day.....there's no way i could have gotten pregnant 12 days after ovulation, that's when i missed my next period, on january 8th.....1st week of feb, BFN, week after v-day, BFP!
I think the later date is probably more accurate. Usually it takes about one and a half to two weeks to show positive on a test. Ultrasound dating can be off by a week. So you probably got pregnant at the very beginning of Feb. which puts you at the end of October for a due date. Which would match what the ultrasound is saying.
