natural and home birth support

I am 7+5 with my second baby. With my first I planned to have a natural water birth in the hospital(even though truely I wanted to have him at home). Long story short I was in labor for 36+ hours. I slowly progressed and had to get pictocine to get me to dialate the last centimeter. When my son was born he was in extremely thick meconium he didn't breath for 7 minutes and had to be resusitated twice. After they got him to keep breathing he was perfectly fine and healthy. Now I am after that natural home birth again. The only problem is everyone is, understandablly, worried. I am so confident in myself though. I feel so completely sure that I can do this and that everything will be ok. I knew when I was in labor with my son that something was wrong. If I would have planned to stay home for his birth I would have gone to the hospital before I gave birth. Ok so anyways I really need someone who has had a home birth and maybe even a hospital birth that didn't go so well to talk to and hear a success story.
