I was 19 with my son, and had a natural water birth. Best experience if my life, i always say 'uncomfortable' never painful!
I gave birth at 16, yeah it hurt but completely worth it! And I'm gonna give birth again at age 19 I'm due June 7th. Can't wait for my daughter to meet her little brother:)
I had an epi with my first born and hated my experience. I was 16 with him and I'm 18 and going all natural this time for sure!! I told my doctors unless it's life or death I don't want any pain meds
Read about some of the risks and side effects before you decide. Watch the business of being born on Netflix. I'm not saying this to scare you but to inform you. Too many women get an epidural during labor because that's become our social norm. But very few actually are informed enough to know what they're consenting to! Informed consent during childbirth is a joke. They make toy read and sign this paper about epidurals while you're in the middle of this intense pain... how are you supposed to know what you're signing unless you know beforehand?
I Did. I'm Fine. My Son Is Fine. I'm Doing It Again With This One. It Will Hurt Either Way.
I was nineteen when I had my daughter. I had to use pitocen to start my contractions because my water was gone, but I made it through epidural free. Read up on everything and know your options. Go into the birthing process well prepared and you can go naturally.
I have a friend who gave birth with no epidural or anything at 15. She said it hurt but it was worth it in the end. You can do if you set your mind to it and don't give up once the pain increases.
