I was having terrible morning sickness, day and night. Plus, I work with food, and that made me nauseous alll day long. I bought the bracelets called "sea bands" and HIGHLY recommend them. They are drug free, and side effect free, other than feeling better. I got them at walgreens for 12 bucks! Good luck!
It sounds like normal morning sickness to me. I remember the days of throwing up first thing it the morning. It was always stomach acid because my stomach was empty. Sounds perfectly normal to me. I, however, had all day sickness so I was put on Zofran. It didn't help much. I still threw up probably 10 times a day. I hope yours is only mornings. Keep crackers by your bed and maybe eat a few before you get up.
Hi!
If you were my patient, I would advise you that you could try Prevacid or Prilosec for a week or so to see if it makes any difference. Sometimes reflux disease (which is much more common in pregnancy) can cause nausea/vomiting in the early a.m. If you don't notice an improvement, it could be just related to the pregnancy, and not to reflux. It is possible that you will just have to count down the days til the baby is born. Usually the Nausea and vomiting are better within a day or so of delivery--really quickly.
Good luck!
