nb yellow slime?

When baby girl woke me up this morning there was yellow discharge in her diaper? I know discharge is normal but if its yellow is that normal?

I didn't even know a baby could have a period lol. Probably because none of my girls have. So I never had to experience it.

They warned me at the hospital about the " period" lol I was like what how is that possible

Yes its normal. I asked the doctors about it at the hospital ny daughter had the same thing its your hormones leaving her body

Thank god my mom has 4 girls!!! I have a little boy!! I knew that baby girls could have a period but didn't know they could get discharge..ill probably be texting my mom with a million little girl questions lol

Its your hormones still in her. My baby girl just had this. Dont be scared of you see blood. She might have a period too. Mine did and no one warned me before hand! Its nor.al though

I think that's their body's way of cleaning itself out after being inside of you for so long but my daughter has some discharge for a while after she was born. If you're worried you could always call her ped :)

Im sure they do have yellow poop in the begining not sure about yellow discharge im a bit out of practice my son 5 and a half and im awaiting new arrival. Hope someone can help
