new mommy to first daughter (:

I had my daughter Thursday morning at 6:34 am. She was 7 pounds 1.4 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long! We had a long tough ride but she wasn't staying in any longer I was 37+6 when I had her. Tuesday at my doc appt they told me I was 3cm n 90 % effaced. Then wed I thought my water was leaking at work but when they checked it at family birth it didn't but I was dilated to a 5 n they watched.my contractions for an hour n checked me again I was at a 6 n a half hour later a 7 so they took me to a delivery room n gave me my epideral. N broke my water.  Three and a half hours of pushing and towards the end the doc told me I will need a c section or to use forceps n get cut so.they gave me more epideral medicine n cut me and pulled her head out from under my pelvis and she was born (: after me getting so sick throwing up n the epideral scrapping my spin putting me in the worst pain ever. The contractions were nothing compaired to the epideral D:

Congrats! I'm happy you finally made it to the end. Horror stories like that about the epidural is what makes me say no to the drugs. Lol. But seriously you poor thing. You are stronger now that you've been through that. Good luck with your new little one!
