after loosing mucus plug what happends next does my water breake within the next.24hrs? or do my contractions kik in?? im a ftm

they could...some women lose their plug at our before 30 and a new one builds up. some women don't lose theirs until they've already had strong contractions. it is different with every pregnancy. but it is one step closer,.congratulations! just stay in tune with your body so you can recognize the next steps. how far along are you? if you are full term, I'd take it much more seriously than earlier as it can regenerate

When I lost mine with my last pregnancy I got really sick and then started having contractions and just wasn't feeling normal. I had a drs appointment the same day I lost it just way later in the afternoon. When I got to the office and the Dr checked me she said I was in labor but not active labor and we were going to have the baby that night cuz I was getting a c section so no point in going into active labor. Good luck. Just watch your body signs and call your ob if you have questions

Its not the same for everyone. My mother in law lost her mucus plug most of the time weeks before labor and with some her water never broke, a few were born in the bag...which is actually good and easier on baby

it all depends I lost my mucus plug weeks before labor started. I lost it in pieces. my water never broke but I was in labor. they had to go in an break my bag

im.40'weeks nd i just had a bloody show ! i called the hospital and said its my mucus.plug still cominh out.... to wait till my water breaks or contractions to.come in..
