So I have one coming up and I looked up why they're done and it says diabetes high blood pressure small measurements and past the due date. But to my knowledge they have told me my sugar and blood pressure is fine I passed the GD test and im not due till January 7 and they say he measures big so I was wondering why the test is being done if it could be because he's measuring bigger

I had gestational diabetes and my baby was measuring big so I had one done. Its to make sure the baby is moving properly and heart rate is good.

Okay thanks at least I know someone else who is getting it too sometimes the internet freaks me out

They prob just want to monitor the babys heartbeat. The heartbeat tells alot about how the baby is moving and if his heart has the right accelerations and decelerations at the correct times. I get them twice a week just as a prrcaution and my baby is healthy as can be so try not to worry. I am borderline gd and she was measuring big but it doesnt mean she is unhealthy
