I never heard anything about tea not good for pregnant women. i have been dringing pekoe tea my whole pregnancy. It's just a blend of all diffent pekoe teas, it's in tea bags, I brew it in a tea maker and it is the best tea I ever had. I never had any problems with it. I'm sure sun tea is fine. I don't know what I would have done without tea. There seems to be a lot of people craving tea during pregnancy these days. I don't know what it is. The only thing to watch out for is tea with lots of caffiene. If you get caffienated tea don't drink so much.

Are you worried about the caffeine/sugar?? It's fine in moderation, most doctors will tell you 1-2 soft drinks, teas, coffee a day during pregnancy as long as it's not a high risk pregnancy. Make sure you drink extra water along with the total 6-8 glasses you're supposed to drink a day if you are drinking the 1-2 caffeinated drinks because they dehydrate you more. I honestly don't think it will hurt you, but if you'd feel better call and ask your OB/GYN and have him approve it as well.
