pain in my side

I'm 20 weeks 1 day with my baby girl and starting yesterday I started getting this pain in my sides every time I stood up. And now today is constant and only on my right side. Even just sitting here it hurts..like someone is stabbing me. Is this a normal part of pregnancy? This is my second baby but the first was 4 years ago and I cant remember this happening.. please help

Its sciatic nerves.Im 25+3 with baby #2 and i didnt experience that either with my first child it has also beenfour years for my hubby and i lol shes almost five. But yes it is definitely sciatic pain that your experiencing,i asked my OB about it,a hot compress or heat pad can help ease the pain.Mine is on my left sometimes but mostly on my right side.I usually get the pain after itting for a while or standing for a long period of time.im almost in my third trimester so im just plain big n heavy lol so i dnt look forward to it getting any better lol it starts as a pinch in my lower right side, shoots down my back and my leg, sometimes i can barely walk so i sit till it lets up a bit.But try a heating pad on your back.Feels glorious :)

It's pointless to be on this site. No one ever responds to me. Never used to be like this. I miss the old girls :(
