pain in pregnancy

Is it normal to feel a recurrent pain on the both sides of your pelvic area during pregnancy? If not what could be the cause of such an occurence?

Yes it's normal. The ligaments around your pelvis loosen up during pregnancy due to a certain hormone, which is designed to make room for your expanding uterus and prepare for childbirth. Sleeping on your side (which of course is the recommended position during pregnancy, go figure!) can make pelvic pain worse too. My pelvis and hips always hurt in the morning and if I sit in one position too long. Pelvic pain is uncomfortable, and gets worse the farther along you get, but usually nothing to worry about. Do mention it to your doctor at your next appointment though. Best wishes! :)

How far along in your pregnancy are you? It is very normal, I had the same problem when I was pregnant and I went to Labor and Delivery quite a few times it is just your body making room for your little one.
