I have it, my doctor calls it a partial placental abruption bc the bleed is right behind the placenta causing it to detatch partly. I have to be on strict bed rest until it resolves or I give birth. I was diagnosed at 8-9 weeks I think and I'm 20 weeks tomorrow. I've had bouts of bleeding, and then ill go weeks without any. I am told that the body can absorb the bleed, so hopefully all goes well. Good luck and don't do anything too strenuous!

THANKS am glad to hear that...the dr told me to take it easy n pelivic rest for 5wks..... Until next ultrasound.... But i think am gonna but myself on strict bed rest to play it safe n let it heal on its own n nor cause strain on it.

Around 7-8 weeks I was diagnosed with one. Difference was, I had a lot of bleeding. I was told it's usually cause by the sac seperating from the uterine wall. I then was put on bed rest for 2 weeks til I had a check up to make sure it hadn't goTten larger. Most times, a SCH will resolve on its own. I am now 32 weeks and mine has been gone for 10+ weeks. If you have any other questions, feel free to inbox me.
