My daughter dad has eczema. She has it too. And I ate peanuts it was my craving when I was pregnant with her and she's allergic now.

I avoid them also, even though they're beneficial.. I read somewhere that it's best to avoid them if you or your baby's father has a history of eczema, hay fever and a few other things..  I guess there's a link idk but I'm not eating them..

That is no longer the current theory. Nowdays they say that there is no evidence that eating peanuts will lead to nut allergies. I lso have crunchy peanut butter on toast throughout pregnancy and when I breastfed my son and he has peanut butter sandwiches everyday now that he is older.

Yes I'm a little afraid. I love peanuts, chocolate peanuts, peanut butter, reeses lol I try to avoid them but can't limit it completely

Lol actually I ate all kinda of peanuts while I was prego with my daughter. I ate cashews, almonds, just regular peanuts, peanut butter with crackers, etc. it was my craving I always had a jar of mixed nuts. And yes when my daughter was 7 months my mom and sister thought it would be cute to see how do with peanut butter because of how hard it is to eat it alone. Lol so they gave her a lil and that's when I found out she was allergic to peanuts. And that's all she's allergic to. She gets a rash all around her mouth red and bumps and if she rubs it and rubs her eye or some where else she gets a rash there too. So any snacks I but for her can't contain any kind of nuts.

I never knew that I love peanuts too!!!!!!
