pedicure pressure points????

So today is my bday and im going to go get a mani pedi and my hair cut before my little girl arrives. I wana know if anyone has had accupuncture (not accupressure) done while getting a pedicure??? It can help trigger contractions or something like that. I will be 39 weeks tomorrow and am ready to try anything (but caster oil) to get her to come on. I dont really wanna be induced.

But I've been doing it on myself along with other points not on your feet and nothing's happening. I'm 39 weeks today.

That's acupressure. And is totally fine :) when it comes time for the massage part just ask if they know how. Or before they start ask for someone who knows.

No I meant the opposite. Im sorry....not the needles just having the person push on ur pressure points like back of ur ankles or whatever....like massaging them.

I don't think acupuncture while getting a pedi is safe. Since they're putting needles in ur skin I'd think you could get infections. Especially in an environment like that. Definitely never heard of it. They even tell you not to shave the same day you go to get a pedi cus you could have tiny little cuts in ur skin that can get infected no matter how clean of a place it is.
